We need designs for WCC logo
Hello designers near and far….we need a logo for use on the program booklet, banner, t-shirts, website and more. The design should represent pool AND San Francisco. We cannot pay for your work, however your name and artwork will be displayed for players and friends in SF, Long Beach, Los Angeles and San Diego. You will also receive a t-shirt with your creative work. Please send samples or any questions to president.sfpapool@gmail.com. The sooner the better!
Note on interdivisional games
A quick heads up as we move into weeks 11-13: Traditionally, these matches have paired up teams in different divisions strictly according to their division ranking (1 vs 1 seeds, 2 vs 2 seeds, and so on). This season we plan on adjusting seeds up or down by 1 slot to avoid repeat matchups and allow teams to play new opponents when possible. For example, if the 5 seeds in the two divisions have already played each other this season, we may match up the 4 and 5 seeds or the 5 and 6 seeds instead. Minimizing the number of neutral-table matches will also be a factor in these decisions.

Election deadline tomorrow
Nominations for board positions close on April 19.
Please let a board member know by tomorrow if you are interested in running for one of the open positions: President (currently held by Joan Pettijohn), Secretary (held by Jocelyn Angeles), Member-at-Large (held by Troy Brunet), or Co-Head Referee (held by Stern Montoya).
8-ball tournament date change
The finals of the 8-ball tournament have been moved from May 8 to May 15 due to Mother’s Day. The web site’s event calendar and downloadable schedule have been updated to reflect this change.
